JEEP Renegade 1.6 MultiJet from 2023 - jerking in gear
Good morning, everyone,
The car in question has no diagnostic anomalies but in the 'EGR opening zone', 3000rpm more or less manifests a sawing accompanied by a metallic sound that disappears as soon as the revs are increased.
Obviously on the motorway and in the city it is difficult to feel it, but on mixed suburban routes it really annoys.
I would be tempted to replace the high-pressure EGR valve, not least because I saw that Fiat had recently replaced it as a part number, but I would be curious to know if there are any case histories on the subject/reprogramming interventions possible.
The vehicle would be under warranty but it is equipped as a rescue vehicle, with the times we have in our parts at the only authorised centre the waiting time could be long and a replacement vehicle would not help. In short, even if there was something to spend, customers would spend it.
