Mini-R56 1.6 Cooper D from 2008 - Off-roading
Good morning everyone, today we bring you the following case reported by the RIGAMONTI NARCISIO workshop, which, after contacting us for a consultation, carried out further tests and found the solution to the problem.
But let us go in order:
The car came into the workshop complaining of shutdowns while driving and power drops. The anomaly tended to occur especially when hot. Doing key off-key on then restarted until the next time.
In diagnosis it stored several fault codes: 3F00, 3F31, C0194, C01A4 and C0159.
Deleting these errors, the ones that immediately recurred were the following:
3F00 - Boost Pressure Sensor -Short circuit to B+
3F31 - Inconsistency between binary pressure and PCV current of common rail pressure sensor
By replacing the fuel delivery control valve on the high-pressure pump, the fault was resolved. It no longer presented any power drops or shutdowns.
Again, I thank the workshop that shared its experience and I urge the whole community to do the same. This is the best way we can help each other and improve.
On behalf of the technical help desk team, I wish you good work.
