After an engine oil change, Opel cars, like almost all now, require a reset of the engine oil quality sensor.

Many, for convenience or out of habit, prefer to reset using the manual' procedureothers prefer to carry out the oil degradation reset using the tester.

During the reset operation, the tester will request the Car Pass: this actual password can be found together with the owner's manual, and is written on a card, like the one pictured.

The code to be entered will be Security Code.

Once this password is entered, consent is given for the oil quality reset and the procedure is completed.
