2008 FORD Focus 1.6 TDCi - FAP ERROR P242F
Good morning colleagues, today in the workshop I got a focus 1600 tdci year 2008 with this error ( P242F filter: particle pressure difference too high ). These are the FAP values: exhaust pressure at 3500 rpm 0.3 bar so FAP clean. Checking the output sensor volts gives these values as a signal: at idle 0.4v - at 3500 rpm 0.9v. Can you tell me if you think these values are OK? As far as I know when the output is more than 1v the fap is clogged but the exhaust pressure is ok so I would have thought it was a sensor fault. Any advice before replacing the sensor?
