Toyotaa few years ago, introduced the 'timing belt replacement warning light"A true maintenance indicator dedicated to the timing belt.

The reset procedure of the timing belt replacement indicator is very similar to the procedure used to reset the service interval indicator.

Below you will find the reset procedure for Toyota Landcruiser 3.0 D4-D.

Procedure:

1. Switch on the ignition.

2. Press the A until 'TRIP B' is displayed B

3. Switch off the ignition.

4. Press and hold the button.

5. Switch on the ignition.

6. The message 'RESETTING T-BELT MAINTENANCE DATA' will be displayed.

7. Press and hold the button A for about 5 seconds until the message 'RESETTING OF T-BELT MAINTENANCE DATA NOW POSSIBLE' is displayed.

8. Release the button A and press it again within 5 seconds.

9. The message '15' will be displayed B.

10. Within 5 seconds: Turn the button C to set the remaining mileage until the next timing belt change.

11. Press and hold the A for about 5 seconds until the message 'RESETTING OF T-BELT MAINTENANCE DATA COMPLETE' is briefly displayed.

12. Switch off the ignition.
