Alfa Romeo - Fiat - Lancia all models odometer flashes
Good morning
Today we will deal with the topic at hand.
Some car models that are equipped with CONVERGENCE NODE i.e. those that have the BT system can present the flashing of the odometer after battery disconnection.
a typical example is as follows: the customer complains that Bluetooth is not working and at the same time the "odometer 'flashing'.
Once the car is in the workshop, the technician will normally check the communication of the can bus network, with the control unit converging L1 and L2. If this is the case, the diagnosis does not connect and the control unit does not respond and is also not aligned on the network.
The next step is to try to 'launch' the proxy alignment without getting any results.
The error message displayed by the body, read by the diagnostic tool is : U1733 CONVERGENCE TELEMATICS NODE .
In such cases, we suggest you carry out the following procedure :
1. Disconnect the connections of the NODO CONVERGENCE control unit for at least 6/12 hours
2. Reconnect the control unit and wait another 6 to 12 hours to complete the system reset.
3. Check that the battery voltage complies with the nominal values both when starting the engine and when the engine is running.
NOTE: if after this procedure and only after waiting another 24 hours the system does not reset, it will be necessary to replace the control unit TELEMATIC CONVERGENCE NODE with a new one.
