Good morning, I have a Grande Punto 1300mjtd that has had its egr valve replaced but after a few days the engine light came on and an error code P0402 exhaust gas recirculation detected excessive smoke.

We went to an authorised FIAT workshop and made a diagnosis with EXAMINER, which detected a new release for the engine control unit, updated the system and now the car is working fine.
