Mta gearbox locks in N after clutch change
Good morning
I wanted to report my experience with some cases that have happened to us. I would like to explain what can happen following a change of clutch disc and a change of hydraulic bearing.
In some cases the gears no longer engage. The car remains in neutral. No gears engage.
In some cases, errors may be present in memory.
The solution I propose is the following: 2 types of purging must be carried out:
1 ) the mechanical bleeding to be performed manually of the circuit from the hydraulic clutch actuator where DOT 4 oil is present
2) the clutch bleeding to be carried out by means of the relevant and specific function in the diagnosis of the MM tester
Please note
It may be necessary to perform the two purging steps a minimum of 5 to 10 times in succession (10 procedures).
Greetings and good work...see you next time
Antonio
