After last year's success, Maggiora hosts the eagerly awaited Italian round of the MXGP World Championship on 14 and 15 June in Maggiora (NO). -

Magneti Marelli Checkstar, official sponsor of the event, awaits you in large numbers to cheer on the great champion Tony Cairoli. The historical Maggiora motocross circuit is ready to host the tenth round of the MXGP World Championship on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June. Enriched and improved, the location features numerous innovations. From a technical point of view the circuit has numerous improvements to make the race more exciting for the riders and spectacular for the spectators.
Specifically, compared to last year's course, the jumps will be renewed: two will be extended and two other double jumps have been lengthened and made much more technical.
However, the changes do not end there: the track design, which retains a traditional layout, has been studied and slightly changed to allow more overtaking and to make the track even more complete and technical.

In an area very close to the circuit, a series of ramps, jumps and pump tracks will be set up for a MTB show.
The facilities inside Maggiora Park will be maintained and made usable even after the World Cup for all fans, young and old, who love this sport. In the commercial village, the most daring will be able to enjoy diving from a trampoline up to 9 metres high and land safely on the 'big air bag'.
For those who prefer to enjoy the show, shows and exhibitions are scheduled, including an incredible Jet Ski demo. We are waiting for you in great numbers and for those who will not be able to reach us in Maggiora we remind you that the two days of competition will be broadcast on TV on Italia 1.
