Below is a description of the problem with the FcA group's 1200 and 1400 petrol engines.

In particular, the fault occurs with the INJECTION LIGHT ON IMMEDIATELY AFTER STARTING in vehicles that have covered a few kilometres, i.e. within 30 to 40 thousand kilometres.

Error detected with diagnostic tool: P0016 DISTRIBUTION SHAFT MOUNTING

IN OTHER CASES THE DESCRIPTION AND ERROR P0016-76 CAMSHAFT ASSEMBLY - INCORRECT MOUNTING POSITION

Check the engine oil level and clear the error.

In active diagnosis, check the function of the phase shifter valve

check that the pulley and toothed belt components are in the correct position

Reassemble the driven toothed pulley, and the toothed belt, and phase them using the specific tools, i.e. jigs.
