HYUNDAI i10 1.1 12V of 2012 - P0335 electrical fault, switch off while driving.
This car idles very well, correct manifold pressure, everything is fine.
When in gear, it has a tendency to switch off.
The defect seems to worsen as the revs rise, on the motorway it shuts down completely even though it always restarts afterwards.
When it faults the key light flashes but I don't think it's the immobiliser, because it doesn't miss a start then anything can be.
Obviously the dtc refers to the rpm sensor, and we changed it first thing.
However, the defect remained and we tried to put it on the original (it costs 5 times more than the quality competitor... sic).
The continuity of the wiring seems to be there, then the dtc is allowed to clear and is not even validated immediately.
It seems that as the revs rise, the synchronisation somehow gets lost... I know, it would take a nice oscilloscope...
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Thank you!
