DPF warning light flashing

Error detected in diagnosis: P2459 - Filter particle filter diesel (DPF) regeneration process - number of DPF regeneration cycles too high.

The logic of the engine control unit includes a calculation of the kilometres since the previous oil change, also taking into account driving conditions: engine load and frequency of filter regeneration particle filter. When the mileage reaches the set value, the DPF warning light flashes and error P2459 is stored. 

As no other errors were actually present, it was sufficient to replace the engine oil and reset the relevant setting - OIL QUALITY RESET - with the diagnostic tool
