A manual initialisation must be performed:

- Start the engine with the steering straight 

- Press the ESP button and the indicator light starts flashing

- Depress the brake pedal and wait until the ESP warning light stops flashing - Release the brake

- Start driving and reach a speed of approximately 10 km/h -

Steer left and right 180° - Drive straight for a few metres - Press the ESP button again - Stop the vehicle

procedure terminated

Please note: If the manual procedure does not work, then reprogramming in Mercedes is necessary.
