The car entered the workshop with the EOBD light on, and performance was reduced (it remained in recovery). 

Upon entering diagnostics, the error was detected: P2279=Intake air leakage; mechanical fault (see also search RESTRICTED AREA-EOBD codes).

We recommended proceeding by closing the air inlet from the turbocharger hose. This resulted in an increase in the typical leakage noise: a puff/whistle.

In doing so, the workshop technician was able to detect the leakage of compressed air from a loose clamp on the turbocharger sleeve. By restoring the correct tightening of the clamp, the car was able to function properly again.
