Panda won't start
Good morning
I would like to draw your attention to this very interesting case: The Fiat Panda does not start and the MIL and code lights are regular in the sense that they go on and off, but the car does not start. Diagnosis with the MM tester revealed the following errors in the car's ECU.
- in engine management ecu : error U1600 electronic key implausible signal
- in ecu ABS : error C1108 serial line intermittent / invalid signal .
There are also faults on the car in the dashboard where the petrol level needle is stopped at zero. The electric window lifters and central locking do not work.
All these elements would suggest a CAN line problem. In fact, we have found that in some Panda models there have been anomalies in the body computer sw.
The solution is simple and inexpensive: DISCONNECT BATTERY POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE
This resets the ECUs and the car starts regularly.
Greetings to all and good luck.......
Antonio.
