The car enters the workshop with the ASR light on.

Four months after replacing the ABS control unit, the ASR light came on again and a fault message appeared on the display.

In ABS diagnosis you cannot enter, while in engine diagnosis the error appears 18057 which is equivalent to P1649= CAN data bus, ABS – no signal.

It is a lack of communication between the engine control unit and ABS.Checked wiring and connections no faults present but oxidation is noticeable on the ABS connector pins.

After spraying antioxidant spray, the warning light went out and the system is working properly.
