We have recently had a few reports of Engine Oil Reset not resetting the warning light or the indication on the Giulia display.

Often this anomaly is caused by the operator performing a reset before the oil change.

The correct procedure is as follows:

1. For cars that do not have a graduated dipstick but have an electronic level control system (e.g. Giulia MY18, Stelvio MY18 and DUCATO IV (290));
2. Carry out an oil change;
3. Install the oil filler cap, warm up the engine until at least 4 oil temperature markings are reached on the car's instrument panel (oil temperature greater than or equal to 93 °C), switch off the engine and wait at least 5 minutes to ensure that the oil sump is completely filled;
4. Perform the Engine Oil Reset with the OK Function SERVICE RESET GENERAL (SGW), this function will simultaneously reset the km and oil quality.
