I would like to point out a very interesting case concerning the car in question.

The car was taken to the workshop because the service key appeared in the display and in the panel with the message oil topping up.

After checking the engine oil level, we realised that the level was low.

Oil was topped up to the correct engine oil level when the engine was cold.

The car was started but although the oil level was correct 

the display and ignition did NOT reset and the service key with the message oil topping up was still present.

We then suggested handing the car over to the owner and telling him that :

 " THE SYSTEM RESETS ITSELF AFTER A FEW DAYS OF TRAVELLING. "

In fact, what was suggested occurred and the problem was solved, i.e. all 'warnings and alarms' in the panel and display went off.

Conclusion: if the engine oil level is OK, you can hand over the car.
