Good morning,

Today we are talking about Megane III 1.5 dCi, engine K9K, 2009 to 2012. Since the ignition of the instrument cluster is timed for a maximum of 10 minutes, you may find it useful to have the instrument cluster on for longer.

Below you will find the procedure to set the 'workshop mode' that enables this behaviour:

1. Engage any gear;
2. Depress the brake pedal;
3. Insert the card into the hole provided;
4. Press the start/stop button for 10 seconds.

At this point, the instrument panel is activated for as long as you want.

To switch off the panel, press the button again.

WARNING: When the workshop mode is activated, the low-pressure fuel pump in the tank is always active, resulting in the discharge of the vehicle battery.
