Reset service does not switch off warning light: service has not reached zero correctly
Good morning,
I often get calls about service reset or oil degradation problems. In fact, it may happen that when starting such operations, the instrument immediately gives a negative result or the result is positive, but when disconnecting the instrument, the service light remains lit on the instrument panel.
When this anomaly occurs, we suggest checking that the service has not expired: the kilometres or days within which to do the service have not yet reached zero.
In such a case, it is very often the case that the instrumentation can no longer reset and it is therefore necessary to take the car in question to the dealer. This can happen on any type of car regardless of make or instrument.
On behalf of the Technical Help Desk team, I thank you and wish you good work.
