2010 SUZUKI Grand Vitara 1.9 DDiS 4WD - Differential oil seal leakage
I will say that this is a car I know little about and for many the question may seem trivial.
This car leaks oil from the oil seal of the FRONT differential, the one where the REAR transmission shaft connects. On other vehicles on which I have done this work once the shaft was removed the remaining flange was held by a nut to the shaft coming out of the differential.
Here, however, the flange does not carry this nut and I would like to understand the correct removal procedure.
I gave a few moderate taps, but I'd say it doesn't seem to be just pressure.
Thanks in advance!
