TPMS CONNECT EVO
MAGNETI MARELLI AMP&S BRINGS 'TPMS CONNECT EVO' TO THE MARKET
With the introduction of the Regulation EC/661/2009, the tyre pressure monitoring system has become compulsory for all passenger vehicleson new type-approvals as of 1 November 2012, and will be, regardless of the date of their type-approval, as of 1 November 2014.
This will lead to an evolution of the tyre business and it will be necessary, depending on the model, to intervene on the system TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) when changing summer/winter tyres, during tyre rotation between axles, when replacing sensors due to internal battery failure, when the sensor itself breaks.
In addition to the OE sensors (sold by car manufacturers), many spare parts with universal sensors can be found on the market, which offer the car repairer or tyre repairer the possibility of managing a rationalised range of codes for different brands.
TPMS Connect EVO from Magneti MarelliIn addition to awakening and reading valve parameters (ID, Temperature, Pressure, etc.) on OE sensors, it allows the coding of the most important types of universal sensors in a simple and secure way.
The operator is also supported in system maintenance tasks with information such as sensor torque, valve OE code, system configurability, and much more.
With the OBD KIT (on board diagnostic), TPMS Connect EVO becomes a diagnostic tool not only for the sensors, but also for the vehicle's on-board TPMS management ECU, enabling error reading and deletion, coding and parameter reading of the ECU.
With this accessory also theless experienced operatoror, without any other adiagnostic equipment, it can fully operate on the vehicle.
