Security pass update
The next time you access the Technical information portal to use the security pass, you will have to upgrade your software from version 1.5 to version 1.6 .
The update is necessary in order for the security pass to be recognised and for the final login phase to be correctly closed.
Below we provide the sequence of the update steps, with some cautions to be observed in order for the process to be completed correctly:
- As a preliminary step (before connecting to the FCA site) it may be necessary to temporarily disable your antivirus software; some of them may inhibit the update.
- If you now connect to the FCA site, you will be prompted to do the update with the message: 'do you want to update', to which you must answer yes.
- The current update situation will now be summarised with evidence software version:1.5
4. Then the message 'Waiting for system restart' appears
5. The software will now be updated to version 1.6 and the device will be able to access the portal correctly.
6. Antivirus can be restored
Note: Be careful, it may happen that a dot appears in the Username area after the last character of your alphanumeric identifier ( WXXXXXX.); should this happen, it is essential to delete it in order to be correctly recognised.
