Volkswagen GOLF VII 1.6 TDI engine water reaches 130 degrees
Good morning
The car in question, the Golf VII 1.6 TDI CRKB engine, had a problem that caused the engine water temperature to rise to 130 degrees. It was an occasional problem.
The solution to the problem came after changing the engine water pump, which was blocked. The pump blockage highlighted in the photo below: in green the new pump, in red the blocked pump.
Green highlight=in order: adjustment slider in rest position
Red highlighting = not in orderadjustment slider blocked, the jig is located above the pump impeller.
If the adjustment slider is blocked as in Figure (red highlight), replace the coolant pump.
